the hitchhikers guide
I feel a bit like a hitchhiker here in Melbourne, albeit a metaphorical one. I seem to be eating and walking my way through the city, hitching a ride at each restaurant, coffee shop, street, interacting with the people there and then moving on.
the winds of change
They say that Melbourne is the city of four seasons. Which is to imply that in one day (or one week) you could experience elements of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

On having your soul crushed
It's 11pm and you're still in the office. By your count you've worked at least 50 hours this week and it's only Thursday. You've been working on a big piece of work, it's important, you feel like you've put your blood, sweat and tears into it, trying to ready it for a presentation to the boss. But you already know you've wasted your time.
